Cyberlightning Ltd. was founded in December 2010 in Oulu (The Silicon Valley of the Nordics – Close to Polar Circle), Finland. The founding team had a joint vision on future 3D Internet and its opportunities. In May 2014 the company launched a new spearhead solution CyberVille® after massive development efforts. The solution has been tested with proof-of-concepts and pilots for a period of more than one year. Customer and partner feedback has been overwhelming and solution features are fine-tuned according to partner needs. During the first 32 operational months the company has grown from garage to its 8th office premises. Cyberlightning is VC funded and it’s expanding its operations globally.
A veteran innovator of the Internet of Things, Ville Mickelsson is now leading his second start-up in this emerging IT business segment. As the CEO of Cyberlightning Ltd., Ville champions a platform that combines the 3D Internet, real world visualization and big data analytics to drive breakthrough applications for managing the Industrial IoT. Prior to Cyberlightning, Ville was CEO of Sensinode Ltd., an IoT software leader acquired by ARM in 2013, and served on the board of the IPSO (Internet Protocol for Smart Objects) Alliance. Ville’s background beyond the IoT includes web-based advertising and mobile commerce, with previous advisor, director and manager positions with TeliaSonera, Starcut and Technopolis Ventures. He currently serves as board chairman for Augumenta Ltd., a pioneering developer of gesture and virtual surface navigation for augmented reality applications.
Mr Juha-Pekka Helminen is the COO of Cyberlightning. Previously Mr. Helminen was the Managing Partner at HitSeed Consulting and director of strategy at Nokia. He is an experienced high-tech strategy, product and business development leader, with unique and proven combination of technical and business expertise in managing complex strategy, sales and change projects for technology-enabled business solutions.
Mr. Vatjus-Anttila is the CTO of Cyberlightning. He has headed the technology development of Intel & Nokia Joint Innovation Center at the Center for Internet Excellence, Oulu University and has also 12 years of experience on mobile industry from Elektrobit Plc.. Mr. Vatjus-Anttila’s PhD thesis is about “Energy efficient rendering of 3D virtual spaces on a mobile platform”.
Mr. Posio is the CBDO of Cyberlightning. He has had over 23 years’ extensive career in Nokia Plc. in several Research and Development positions. At Center for Internet Excellence, Mr. Posio CTO, Internet Experimentation has been responsible of initializing research projects in the internet context and establishing OULLabs (Oulu Urban Living Lab) to further develop Oulu Smart City infrastructures and services. Mr. Posio has also wide experience on working in numerous EU FP7 Project consortiums as Partner, Work Package Leader and Dissemination Manager.

4. Purpose of the processing of the Personal Data
The purpose of the File is to maintain the information of members, to develop services, to manage relations, to produce services that require invoicing and registration. The Personal Data can be used for marketing purposes according to the Finnish Personal Data Act.
5. Sources of Data
The Personal Date is collected as the customer creates the Cyberlightning Account, updates his / her particulars and uses the services. In addition it is possible to save information that is given at the time of service is provided or maintained.

7. Transfer of Personal Data
The Controller may assign Personal Data for direct marketing purposes if the person has not prohibited it. The Controller can transfer Personal Data to the authorities within the rules of legislation. The Personal Data can be assigned outside the European Union or the EEU as well.
The Controller may make the Personal Data public if the Person has given a notice of consent (electronically or otherwise) for the Controller to do so.
The Controller may publish a list of e-mail addresses in written register or in an electronic register as well as in an international or a national directory service.
8. File Protection
The File is maintained in an electric form through the ADT-system. Only the authorized personnel have a right to use the file as a whole. Signing ins to the File shall be recorded in log files. The File and the Personal Data are saved in a database that is secured with passwords and firewalls.
